Our Story
First meet
2016
Teifion asked Wendy to dance. She had questions about car insurance and he happily answered them. Wendy thought Teifion was very bad at flirting; Teifion was just trying to be helpful.
Asking her out
Next week
Teifion brings along Tara to get a 2nd opinion on Wendy. Wendy's car has broken down so Teifion provides a lift and Wendy thinks she has completely misjudged the situation.
First date
4 days later
First date is a walk along the seafront, a meal at a (now closed) restaurant and then a trip to Tesco to get some paracetamol. There was also singing along to songs in the car.
Noodle
2017?
Wendy started her Psych shifts and moved in with Teifion. After the first week of shifts she declared "we need a cat". The next day we got Noodle.
Jam and Beans
2020?
It was lockdown, Noodle was clearly lonely (this was not true) and we decided we wanted some more cats. Enter Jam and Beans (Beans sadly passed a few years later, Jam is fat but otherwise fine).
New house
2021
Quite likely the most stressful time in our lives. Post-pandemic-lockdown with things both moving incredibly quickly and incredibly slowly. It nearly fell through several times but we made it in the end. Big thanks to all the friends and family who helped with the move itself!
Pickle and Nacho
2022
Teifion went to help Wendy's Mum (Tracy) collect some new cats. Upon arriving Teifion knew Wendy would want some more too, a quick phone call to check and Teifion came home with Pickle and Nacho.
The proposal
Saturday 25th - March 2023
We went for a walk up the Sugar loaf. It was quite romantic with freezing winds and a large fun-run taking place at the top. Wendy of course said yes and then we waited a few years before actually getting married.
